Attorney Share Supports three user roles to best fit your firm's existing structure and workflow around referrals:
- Attorneys: These users have an active bar license and a public-facing attorney profile in the Member Directory, where they can connect with other attorneys. They can refer cases out through the Marketplace and Waterfall Referrals™ and acquire new cases from Waterfall Referrals™ or the Marketplace.
- Case Managers: These users do not have an active bar license and are not visible in the Member Directory. They can, however, create referrals and proposals on behalf of any of the attorneys in their firm. Case Managers can see all proposals/invites for attorneys in their firm, can take action on those cases in the My Referrals tab (and will be automatically added to the case as a collaborator). Any other users on the platform who interact with them on a case will see 'Case Manager on behalf of Attorney.' Case Managers also have permissions to Firm Settings tab and can update preferences.
- Administrators: can be attorneys or non-attorneys. These users have access to the Firm Settings page where they can add other members to the firm account and manage the firm integrations with their case management software. Admin attorneys can also post cases on behalf of other attorneys at their firm. If an Admin is not an attorney, they only have access to the Firm Settings page. If you desire the permissions to post cases on behalf of attorneys, see the Case Manager role.
Step-by-step instruction on how to add a firm member can be found here!
